Ten Minutes of Easy Breathwork
A ten minute breathwork practice that relieves stress, brings clarity, and leaves you
feeling more connected to your deepest and wisest self.
Gentle guidelines for this breathwork:
Find a flat place to lie down (with no pillow or a flat pillow)
Hands open and relaxed at your sides
Eyes closed if it feels good
Opening the mouth, take a nourishing inhale and exhale both in and out of the relaxed mouth (breath will have the sound of “ah-ha.”)
Keep breaths connected (with no pauses between the inhale and exhale)
Let them be easy and gentle, not forced or held
Bring willingness and an open mind, leave with more connection to mystery and an open heart.
Breathwork might cause your body to:
Tingle
Change in temperature
Stiffen, tremble, or tighten
Emotionally release
Experience a movement of energy
These are all normal sensations and responses to breathwork, and can be an indication that something stored in the body is working free - However - it is your responsibility to educate yourself on the contraindications of any breathwork practice and speak to your healthcare provider to ensure it is a safe choice for you.
